About me

Hello hello! My name is Dom, and I’m based out of the D.C. metro area. As you’ve probably guessed, Baking by Dom is where I’ll share my recent and favorite bakes.

Growing up, baking with my mom was almost a weekly occurrence, most of the times using box mixes (which are great, and I’ll still use in some recipes). I loved the feeling of creating something, it was fun to do together, and the results always satisfied my sweet tooth. When I moved out from home, of course I kept baking, but I knew I wanted to be more involved with the process and work from scratch. Now, I’m working on developing and sharing my own recipes here with you!

I’m by no means an expert, but here we can learn together and enjoy some delicious sweet (and some savory) treats.
