- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup unsalted butter, room temperature
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 3 cups old-fashioned whole rolled oats
- 1 1/2 cups raisins
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350° F and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
- Whisk together the flour, cinnamon, nutmeg, baking soda, and salt in a medium sized bowl.
- In the bowl of a stand mixer with the paddle attachment, beat together the butter and sugars until light and fluffy. Then add in the eggs and vanilla and beat on low until combined.
- Add the dry ingredients to the wet and mix on low until just combined. Then add in the oats and mix by hand with a spatula until combined. Add in the raisins and mix in with the spatula.
- Scoop into 1.5 tablespoon balls and place about 6 to a baking sheet.
- Bake for 11-12 minutes. Once removed from the oven, let sit on the pan for a couple minutes before transferring to a wire rack to finish cooling.
